Listen to the Replay of the Teleseminar:
Healing the world
with Patch Adams & Susun Weed
December 10, 2015, 9:30pm EST

Discussion about how we, as a people, can become beacons of change to heal this sick world and work toward a more loving and peaceful community.

Patch Adams, MD founded the Gesundheit Institute in the 1970s as an alternative to the prevailing medical system. Advocating all forms of therapy, the hospital admitted all patients and took no money for the first several years. Even though the hospital stopped seeing patients in 1983, Patch continues to advocate for a change in the system. Now in its 45th year, the hospital project has stretched around the globe in the form of speaking engagements and humanitarian clowning tours. Patch reminds people that the best qualities in a person's life is to be happy, loving, cooperative, creative, and thoughtful. Friendship is the best medicine.
