Most women have either experienced fibroids themselves or know someone who has. According to statistics, Black women between the ages of 35-50 experience fibroids three times more often than White women of the same age. After age 50, all women experience them at almost an equal rate. Some of us consider fibroids to be a form of unexpressed emotion, and the wombspace a repository of genetic information from our mothers and grandmothers.
What stories might we be carrying that we can express, dissolve, and integrate in order to lessen painful symptoms and avoid unnecessary surgeries?
